Malo e lelei. I am Malia. I have worked as an educator with Home2Grow Childcare since 2017.
My own 3 children are grown up now, but I enjoy taking care of pre-schoolers. I especially enjoy talking to them and sharing stories with them. I have access to lots of resources, books and toys. The address that I operate from has plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to run and play.
I speak English, Tongan, Tokelauan and a little Samoan. Looking forward to meeting you to discuss your childcare requirements.
Every child has their own strengths, so I believe it is always important to let them grow at their own comfort level, providing them proper guidance as and when they need it. The experience of raising my own 2 children has given me an ability and tools to engage other children in different activities which will help them to develop in a holistic way.
I am an experienced, caring and nurturing educator and love to take the children out for fun activities and outings around our area. We do not have any pets.

I am a grandmother of 2 preschool children and have taken care of them since birth.
I have a lot of patience and believe that children’s early experiences are very important in moulding their development. I enjoy teaching different skills and can offer a caring and friendly environment.
My name is Julie. I live in Massey in our family home. I have created a safe, warm and welcoming environment for the children. I believe that children learn when they feel happy and safe, and also provoked and inspired by the resources available and the activities set up.
We go out in the community a few times a week, to participate in music programmes, library, organize picnic in the parks and also going to the farm or any other attraction in West Auckland.
Looking forward to meeting you and your child.
I have worked in the childcare industry for 17 years and have been a mother for 25 years.
I love being with children because they remind me that life is full of simple pleasures. I feel uplifted by their innocence and joy. I love being able to share in their happiness and bring more smiles to their faces. Every single moment brings new excitement, and I celebrate these little moments as these brighten both of our lives.
Children will be provided with a wonderful place to grow, learn and enjoy themselves.
I am a proud mother of 2 beautiful children and have 7 years of childcare experience including babysitting and home based care. I have cared for children from new born to 9yrs old. I am flexible with regard to the childcare times and options I can provide.
I am creative and love playing, colouring and using playdough with the children. I enjoy going on outings with the children in my care, and also enjoy keeping portfolios and taking many photos for parents, as I know how nice it is to actually see what your child has been doing. I am passionate about young children and their behaviour and brain development. It is important to me that children learn social skills, such as sharing, during the preschool years.
I have a valid First Aid certificate and attend Home2Grow professional development conferences.
I have a Teacher’s Aide background and my passion for teaching and interacting with children has engaged me with volunteering and teaching in Primary schools and Early childhood centres. I have worked in the teaching field since 2010 with children of all ages.
I feel a respectful environment is the key to a child’s wellbeing, successful relationships and for a fruitful development. It’s so rewarding for me to see children develop new skills and gain an appreciation of knowledge and learning.
If you want your child to feel safe, loved and develop fine lifelong skills then I am the right person for you and your little one!

Hello,
I am Rita Sood and I am from India. People know me by Aashie as well. I have a lovely family and I am mum of two lovely daughters. I have done my Nursery Teacher Training course from India and worked as early childhood teacher both in India and in Auckland.
I have setup my outdoor play area with swings, slides, bikes and trampoline. I totally believe in having physical outdoor areas for kids for their physical development. Kids in my care love to spend most of their time exploring to this challenging environment.
Indoor activities include lots of resources like blocks, imaginary play and literacy corner for them to prepare for school.
If you want your child to grow in a small ratio, and have fun altogether under one roof, then I would love to hear from you soon.

We believe that the Auckland based Home2Grow Childcare experience gives your child the best possible start in life. You don’t have to take our word for it though, read the childcare testimonials from happy parents, children and educators to find out more.

I have found Home2Grow to be the perfect place for my daughter. She loves going there and I know her educator really cares about her. Home2Grow allowed me to be flexible with childcare hours, which suits my husband’s job and mine. The small ratio of carer to child means less sick days and she has had many wonderful trips out with them. Having her in someone’s home means she keeps the same routine at both places and has her own space, bed and sense of belonging.

Julie is a perfect balance between being firm and loving. She lays down the rules in the most amazing and positive way. For Julie looking after kids is not a job, it is her passion. All the kids under her care are treated equally and the best part is that they are treated as one of her own.

I would surely recommend Rita to anyone who would like to enrol their kids in home based daycare. Sidharth made good progress during his time with her. Everyday I used to get updates and the feedback was really helpful for me to monitor and improve my approach too.
